TRIO Talent Search at Wichita State University is a federally funded program designed to prepare and motivate middle school and high school students for postsecondary education. It has been serving students in Wichita since 1977.
All services are free and include: tutoring, a computer lab with internet access, an after-school tutoring program, college and career information, assistance with completing financial aid and scholarship forms, campus visits to two-year and four-year colleges, and workshops such as: Getting Ready for the ACT, and Understanding Financial Aid/Financial Literacy.
Hours:
8 am - 5 pm Mon - Fri; After-school tutoring program: 3:30 - 6 pm Mon - Thurs.
