Public internet and wireless access, in-library laptop use, checkout mobile WiFi hotspots, Interlibrary Loan, online library catalog and databases including learning a new language, Lynda.com and Learning Express tutorials, tech assistance, deliver library materials to homebound Newton and North Newton senior citizens, download ebooks, audio books, magazines, music, movies, and more.
Hosts monthly Harvey County Resource Council noon meetings on 1st Thursdays.

Intake Procedure
All Kansas residents may apply for a NPL card at the Library with current government photo ID and proof of residency. A parent or legal guardian registers minors under 18 years of age. Teacher cards for classroom use with longer check-out times are available. Out-of-state students in the area may also apply for free NPL cards. During pandemic, send request for NPL card to library@newtonplks.org or call 316-283-2890.
