Description:

Provides infants, children, adults and seniors with developmental, intellectual and related disabilities with the opportunity to enhance their quality of life through the use of computers, adapted equipment, specialized switches and software. Individualized Technology Supports and Services including: individualized software; assistance with exploring and securing funding or technology equipment specific to an individual's needs; work site evaluations; technology support/evaluation in community and home environments; and augmentative communication device, evaluations and training. Specialized Services including: computer evaluation and training; lending library of toys, switches, programs, etc.; customized adaptations to computers, switches and toys; environmental assessment - customized design and development of seating and equipment such as booster seats, high chairs, swings, tables, bath seats, strollers, work stations, etc.; family support and education; and individualized weighted vests, blankets and other customized hand sewn adapted items.
