Advocates provide one-on-one counseling and help guide victims through law enforcement, medical, judicial and social service systems. A 24-hour helpline connects victims to emergency shelter, food, clothing, transportation, cash assistance, and referrals to other agencies. Adult and child support groups are offered to victims to continue building empowerment. Individual support is also offered to relative, partners, and close friends.
