Description:
We are a Nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that is operated by and for peers of mental health services in Sedgwick County. It is a consumer-run organization (CRO) which is not a treatment facility but provides mutual help. We have support groups and offer fun activites.
Hours:
1:30 - 7:30 pm Tues - Fri.
Intake Process:
Attend Project Independence on 2 separate occasions within a 3 month period. Fill out paperwork.
Program Fees:
Monthly Membership dues are $3.00. We offer discounted bus tickets for transportation for members to return the following day. We offer transportation home for a fee.

Membership qualifications: Live in Sedgwick County. Must be 18 years or older. Self Identify as having a mental health condition.
