Description:

The Center of Wichita is a place to call home for Wichita's LGBTQ community and a safe space for our youth to be who they are. The Center of Wichita is a resource center for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and allied people of the greater Wichita area. We currently house an LGBTQA library and a safe space for our weekly youth group, Get Connected. Three support groups are offered: one is for parents, one is for PreK-5th grade, and one is Phoenix a transgender support group. Our current focus is securing resources and educational opportunities for Wichita's LGBTQA youth. We hope to continually expand to make available many more resources for all of our community.
