Southeast Kansas Services at Catholic Charities provides assistance as a means of keeping people in their homes while guiding families towards goals that meet their daily needs. Helping the working poor, unemployed, or people unable to work due to disability or illness, and people on fixed incomes or limited government assistance. Based in Pittsburg and serving an 11-county area in southeast corner of Kansas, Catholic Charities' Southeast Kansas Services works to prevent homelessness and stabilize housing through emergency rent and utilities assistance, and case management and resource navigation for mainstream benefits. Intake Process:

Call to schedule an initial intake. Clients must complete office visit to receive financial aid. Clients are to bring photo ID for all adults and Social Security cards for children in the home, proof of residency for past 60 days and proof of income.
