Description:
Provide highly-trained and skilled volunteers, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA volunteers), for abused and neglected children in the local court system. CASA volunteers advocate for the best-interest of child victims in the Juvenile Division of District Court and the child welfare system. As one of 23 programs in Kansas, Children Worth Saving, serves the counties of Clark, Comanche, Ford, Gray, Kiowa and Meade counties in southwest Kansas.
Our professional staff, also provide pre-service and ongoing continuing education and initial and ongoing screening of all CASA and Board of Director volunteers. The goal is to provide the highest-quality of services to child victims of abuse and neglect.
In addition, Children Worth Saving, plays a lead role in Child Abuse Prevention month activities across our judicial district.
