Join a group of like-minded people working on meeting their goals. Coaching groups will help you clarify your strengths and identify barriers that are keeping you from personal growth. Coaching groups for the year of 2022 are Spring into Action (moving forward after the past few years), Solo2gether (the balancing act of single parenting), Summer Goals Group, Maintaining the Gains (maintaining goals through changes), Summer Book Club, Summer Speakers Series (speakers speak on different topics and also break into discussion).
An annual group held at HopeNet is Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin' By World are offered at various times of the year. The Getting Ahead class is a class/workshop to help people stabilize their situations and build resources to improve their lives. The Getting Ahead program guides participants through the process of assessing their own resources and how to build those resources as part of their move to self-sufficiency.
