Description:
BHI is a faith-based one-stop shop for homeless people in Butler County, Kansas. BHI provides the following services at the Day Shelter: referrals to agencies and organizations able to meet specific needs; hot meal served daily; grocery items; toiletries; replacement clothing; showers courtesy of the YMCA; laundry facility; licensed stylist for free haircuts; charging station for cellphones; replacement identification; assistance with employment and housing applications. Overnight refuge during the winter months.
Hours:
2023 Winter Hours: 6 - 10 pm Sun, Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun; and 2 - 10 pm Wed and Thurs.
