The Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority (Topeka Metro) provides bus service within the Topeka city limits and works with other organizations to meet mass transit needs. Topeka Metro provides fixed route service and paratransit (Lift) service Monday through Saturday during daytime hours. Topeka Metro currently operates twelve fixed routes. To use the Lift service, a person must be certified. Information is at https://www.topekametro.org/paratransit-service-the-lift. The new MOD (Metro on Demand) began in early 2023 for southeast Topeka. Utilizing the MOD app on a smartphone or computer, or by phone, passengers can book a ride for travel within a single zone. Within 15 minutes one of the professionally-trained drivers will arrive for pick-up and continue to the requested destination.

Group presentations are held once a month at Quincy Station. Please contact Customer Service at 783-7000 for more information on presentation dates or to schedule an instruction program.
