Description:
Foster Care Child Care is a benefit similar to Child Care but designed specifically for Foster Parents in Kansas. Eligible foster families will receive a monthly benefit to assist them in paying for child care expenses related to the children in foster care in their home. This unit works in conjunction with the Child Placing Agencies and Case Management Providers to ensure the maximum amount of child care related expenses possible are covered for the foster families.

Eligibility
Based on need and being a foster family with at least one child in foster care in the custody of the Secretary of the KS Dept for Children and Families.
Fees
Benefit amounts may vary based on provider, county, and age of children.
Intake Procedure
Completion of FCCC application with Foster Care case manager or sponsoring agency. May also be submitted directly to email.
Languages
Interpreters available for over 30 languages, including Spanish and Sign Language.
