Description:
To schedule/provide mammograms and educate African American women on the importance of getting mammograms and women!s exams through pink table talk group luncheons and conversations, presentations, along with answering any questions and concerns women may have. Each luncheon will include breast cancer survivors and table host educators along with attendees from the Wichita community. Four events are planned through 2023 and African American women 18 and over are encouraged to participate. Luncheon provided, mobile mammogram available or the opportunity to schedule a mammogram, and breast health education and outreach activities along with a pink swag bag of give-a-ways for all participants.
