Description:
A no cost program designed to strengthen and stabilize families by providing hands on training for relationship skills, workforce readiness, and life skills. Initially families will complete a five-week workshop (in person and/or via Zoom), which will require attending classes two times per week. Each class will last approximately two hours. Participation from all members of the family (ages 6+) is highly encouraged. The program utilizes the !Strengthening Families! Curriculum, which is an evidence-based curriculum and course designed to help parents and youth develop happier family relationships. Topics covered during the workshop include, parenting skills, healthy relationships skills, budgeting, communication, and other life skills. Once the workshop is completed participants will be offered one on one case management services to support and assist the family with specific needs. Case managers will provide access to resources, as well as assistance with educational and employment concerns and needs, homeless prevention, and other issues. Staff will work with adults and youth to improve workforce readiness, including, but no limited to resume building assistance, job search support, and career assessments.

Familyâs needs could be housing, truancy, behavioral issues, substance use, abuse, employment, education, familial relations, or any other family need.
