Description

To provide a safe, confidential place for military and veterans to find community in a healthy environment and help lessen the symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Sojourner's hosts several groups each week specifically for military and veterans. Our military hours are hosted on Monday at 3:00 pm and Thursday at 9:00 am. Military hour is just a time for military and veterans to come together for coffee and to talk about whatever they want to or are walking through that week. We host a veteran-led Bible study each Monday at 1:30pm. We also host a resiliency group on Tuesday evenings at 6:00pm. The resiliency group is a smaller group, targeting healthy ways to move through the unexpected things in life that happen. It also works through tools and skills to help those living with PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Our organization also hosts various other events through the month to aid in building relationships and community among military and veteran couples and families.
